High School Equivalency Classes

It is never too late to learn! Classroom instruction in social studies, math, science, literature and the arts, and writing skills will help you finish your high school education. Wilson Tech offers:

  • Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes
  • High School Equivalency Preparation classes to help you take the High School Equivalency Exam, formerly named GED®, now named TASC (Test Accessing Secondary Completion)

Unless otherwise noted below, register by calling (631) 667-6000 x327. After your appointment with an assessor/advisor, students are placed in the classes that best match their academic needs. Times and locations are:

External Diploma Program (EDP)

Must be at least age 21. Prepare to earn your long-awaited high school diploma! You can earn credit for life skills. Meet each week at a time that fits your schedule with an assessor/advisor. The EDP program is especially valuable for those who need flexibility. Call (631) 667-6000 x327 for an initial screening with an assessor/advisor.

GRASP

Must be at least age 21. This study-at-home program helps adults prepare for the High School Equivalency, formerly named GED®, now named TASC (Test Accessing Secondary Completion). Telephone help included. Work at your own pace. Assignments based on need. Pick-up assignments from the Career Center or a library conveniently located near you! Connection TV for HS Equivalency

Must be at least age 21. This program was formerly known as GED/TV. This study-at-home program is found on television and helps adults prepare for the High School Equivalency, formerly named GED®, now named TASC (Test Accessing Secondary Completion).
