Digital technology now allows anyone with a digital
camera, basic computer knowledge and a fast internet
connection to design professional quality photobooks. Use
your own images to commemorate special occasions, family
events, vacation travel or an artistic theme of personal
interest. Learn to properly capture and prepare your
pictures for good reproduction and use free software to
upload, layout pages, select custom covers, integrate text
and have your book professionally printed and bound at
modest cost. Each student will create a personal project
leading to a print ready file. Basic computer literacy
and knowledge of the internet required. Students should
bring 35 or more digital images on CD or USB flash drive
to the first session.
