Parents and seniors are invited to evening and daytime sessions! Representatives from colleges, universities and training institutes across New York and the northeast will be available to discuss admission criteria and distribute college brochures in the Wilsonian Room at Tech’s Dix Hills Campus. No advance registration is necessary.
Learn about financial assistance, the college application process as well as the employment outlook for various job titles. Tech's Financial Aid Advisors and Career Counselors will also be available to answer individual questions.
"This is a great time for parents to get the information they and their seniors need to plan for life after high school. It will be informal so parents and students can ask about everything from majors to financial help," said Kenneth Burr, Executive Director of Career and Technical Education.
Parents and students are invited to Tech's college fair. Representatives from colleges and post-secondary institutions will be at Tech's Dix Hills campus during both morning and afternoon sessions. Tech students from all campuses will be permitted to attend during their normal program hours.
When: Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, during AM and PM sessions
