Gina Berenzy (nee Grasso), Lindenhurst HS, Class of '90, was the guest speaker at this year's PTA Day. Gina completed Tech's Computer Information Technology program. She was active in Skills USA where she served as an officer in her senior year. Upon graduation, Gina was offered a part-time evening data-entry position at BOCES. In late 1990, Entenmann's Bakery contacted Tech's Placement Office seeking a word processor; Gina applied and was hired. Within two years, she was offered an expediting position in the company's Purchasing Department. Gina then enrolled at Suffolk Community College where she earned her associate's degree at night while working full-time. Today, Gina is still with Entenmann's as manager of their purchasing department, and working on a bachelor's degree at St. Joseph's College. Gina and her husband, another BOCES graduate have two children.
